Penny is an artist who works across the boundaries of painting and glass design. Her work is inspired by a love of colour, light and mood in the landscape. Paintings and drawings in the landscape often provide starting points for glass paintings – these being autonomous glass panels, or beginnings for site specific work.
She has completed commissions in churches, schools and domestic situations. After a long career in teaching in art school she is now concentrating on developing her art practice, and is open to new commissions.
She is currently studying Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking at the University of West of England Bristol.
